Our Story

Barker Signs is a family run business established in 1966 by the late Malcolm Barker.  He started out working from home doing small jobs like house signs and vans for local tradesmen and was well known for signwriting the Ketton Cement lorries.

His Son Michael joined the business in 1979 and as the work load increased they moved to larger premises. With the introduction of new technology they became the largest sign and signwriting company in the area. Their experience, knowledge and reputation created the strong foundation for the business to thrive and continue for many decades to come.

Michael’s son Sam is now a key member of the workforce making it a 3rd generation family business.
